Thorndale engages business and community in the lives of people with intellectual disability.

Thorndale is a not-for-profit charity that provides accommodation, community participation and employment for people with intellectual disabilities and a range of packaging and assembly services for businesses. 2008 is our 50th anniversary of actively supporting the Nepean community.

Our philosophy is based on the belief that people with intellectual disability deserve the same opportunties as the rest of the community. Thorndale’s role is to provide social, creative and employment opportunties that have real meaning for those we support. We strongly support the concept and practice of social inclusion and individual choice. We believe that we have a responsibility to contribute to social change that engages people with intellectual disability in all aspects of life.
